Apple Festival

A few weeks ago, an orchard that I used to go to as a kid had an Apple Festival. Now that M is a little older, I thought it'd be nice to take her out there.

She loved when this horse would sneeze. She thought it was the funniest thing ever.

We had fun. The first thing we did when we got there was take her for a pony ride. It was a little silly because they put her on this gigantic horse and they put the older kid in front of us on a tiny little one. haha. The pony's name was Beau (which she can say!) and she loved it. She didn't even need me to hold on to her (but I did anyway).

Reading Amelia Bedelia

After pony rides, we went over to meet the author of the Amelia Bedelia books and get his autograph. We bought 2 books - one of the originals (by his aunt) and one of his newest ones.

Then we headed over to pick up something to eat and, as you can see, M loved her hot dog.

She loved riding the little baby tractor. She was a little bit too big for it, but she was way too small for the big ones. She didn't want to stop, though!

Then we did the corn maze.

Even though she kept tripping, she loved it.

And what's an apple festival without some apples???

It was her first whole apple. She kept biting it and spitting out the skin.

  1. How fun!! Cute pictures!

I am hoping to take Mac to the pumpkin farm this weekend and go on his first hay ride!!

  2. Nice, Marci!!! Don't forget to post up some pictures!
