On Thursday, we took M to get her pictures taken for our holiday cards. I can't believe how expensive pictures are nowadays, but we did like the way they came out. She met Santa, too (and wiped her nose on his sleeve!). It's really hard for me to choose a favorite picture because I like them all so much. haha.

I have to say though, if you have 4 kids and you can't control them, then you probably shouldn't take them to get their pictures taken if you don't have anyone to go with you. This one woman kept letting her 2 youngest kids runs around like crazies and then the oldest one kept chasing after the two younger ones. The little girl kept screaming at the top of her lungs and the youngest boy kept chasing her around the lobby, knocking the other kids over. Very annoying. I also didn't like the 2 teenagers (who were there by themselves) who kept looking at my daughter and laughing. The Little Monster wasn't even doing anything, she was cuddling her Elmo doll. We ended up waiting a long time for the photos to 'develop' even though they said that someone would be with us in 'a few minutes'. All in all, though, the experience was a good one. We really liked our photographer and M had a blast. She kept trying to get the red ball ornament. haha.

We got this one in a 10x13 for our living room. I personally think it's adorable.

I did it! I managed to make the Little Monster 2 outfits for her Christmas pictures... which I scheduled for this Thursday. We might also get her pictures in 1 other outfit, too. I still need to make her some shoes to match the red one, but here it goes:

She's making a funny face in this one, haha.

I'm in love with this pink one. I used a 25yd roll of hot pink and about half of each 25yd rolls of light pink and white tulle. I also used a roll of hot pink glittery ribbon. The santa hat was $1 at Target, the boa was leftover from the red dress. I already had the elastic, the shirt & the pants. All in all, this outfit cost a grand total of $13 to make!

I still need to get a black ribbon and make her a belt for the red one. I ended up using 2 25yd rolls and 1 15yd roll of red for this dress. Plus, 1 roll of white ribbon, the boa and a roll of red ribbon. It ended up costing somewhere around $20 to make, but I still like it!! :)

I was browsing through Etsy today for some ideas for things I'd like the Princess to have or wear for Christmas this year (since it will be her first) and hopefully that I can make since the time is coming up quickly! (Click on any of the pictures to be taken to the Etsy listing!)

If I can figure out how to get the fun fur on there, I might try to make it. Of course, her Santa hat is hot pink with sequins, so they wouldn't exactly match. haha.

I really wish that I could become a bow master, but my fingers really hate making the loops and making them stay that way. haha.

For those of you who remember back in October when we managed to raise over $2000 for Rose (aka 2kute) so that she could purchase a new air conditioner, we're now trying to raise money for another very worthy cause! Baby Peyton is 7 months old and suffers from cardiomyopathy. She is in dire need for a heart transplant. Her mother has already used up all of her paid time off and the medical bills are hitting their family hard. So, Team2kute is trying to raise some money for their family, in hopes of helping them out at least a little bit this holiday season.
